New Update Prevents Windows Being Placed Off the Top of the Screen

The new Windows Update prevents any window from being moved partially off of the top of the screen. I need that extra space. messing around with the SNAP function doesn't fix it So can this be turned off and if not, is there another operating system that will let me do this?

How to place NEW FOLDER at top of directory/list?

In Windows 7 when I created a new folder it built it at the top of the list of files.

In Windows 10, it creates the new folder at the very bottom of the list. This is really frustrating as I have about 2000 image files in the folder and have to scroll back up to see other folders in the folder at the top. Hope that makes sense.

Basically, when I create a new folder, I'd like it to build it at the top of the list of files in the folder. Is this possible?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Windows is taking very long to boot to login screen

Thanks for all the time you and Dalchina spent to find a solution to my problem. Unfortunately, in spite of all attempts, the problem refused to go away!

While searching for a solution on the web, I came across a fellow sufferer's very recent suggestion at answers.microsoft.com. Following the tip, I installed the free version of Windows Repair Tool from tweak.com. Ran this tool and followed the on-screen guides step by step. It took nearly 5 hours to complete and then repeat as suggested by the program. But it was worth it as my problem vanished and this morning, my start up process took only about 1 minute against the earlier 100 minutes!
