Windows 10: NEW USER bought a 2nd Dell laptop Registering new owner

after i bought a 2nd dell inspiron laptop of gumtree id sin a website were electrical items can be checked if the serial numb **** up stolen , I did check best i could BUT id not relised id not got a Last name or full address on the pad id asked her do a bill of sale ,Iv bin told il not be able Register it is it true although iv asked dell its not stolen maybe a litttle old lol

Sold laptop, now new owner needs password ???

I sold my laptop online after doing a factory restart on it. Removed all my personal files and kept Windows 10 on it. Now, the new owner messaged me that he needs a password for the laptop. Not a PIN, but a password. I don't remember resetting any passwords
or pins.

Logging into my microsoft account, I saw that the laptop was still in my list of devices. I removed it from my devices and unlinked it from the microsoft store.

Is there anything else I need to do? Will the new owner still need a password? Can the new owner reset the password?

 

New Dell

• I just bought a Dell all in one computer it came with windows 10 64bit sys. and I was running a old dell that had so much virus on it I didn't want to transfer windows 10 build to the new one. So I tried to reg. the new dell with Microsoft and I thought
  it was Reg. and Microsoft update my old build to the new one at 32bit sys and the system run 64bit. system. So how can we change it ?? I update the Bois no luck there change windows 10 again didn't work. Still 32 not 64 real slow computer..
