Windows 10: New user profile, "class not registered"

My computer pushed Windows 11 installation last week. Now, instead of the default user profile of "Jamie" that I've had, and stored all of my files and settings in for many years, all of my user folders have been renamed to "TEMP.JAMIELAPTOP-L6M". Also, now I can't open image files. I have the default program set for .jpg files, I have run the system file checker with no errors. HELP! Why do Windows upgrades have to break your PC?

The error Class Not Registered may affect many applications. It can be due to changed changes on the Default apps. We'd like to ask the following to help us out on this:

• Can you elaborate the troubleshooting steps that you've done so far?
• Are you able to tell us when did this happened and how long is this ongoing?
• Were there any newly installed applications or updates applied on the device?
• Do you have another user account we can use on your device?

class not registered

Neither Edge or the start menu will load on my computer. It just comes up with X class not registered.

Any suggestions?
