    Hello, I have a problem with new users who need to connect to our servers in RDP, Only this message appears: Our users are created in the AD via a form so we are obliged to leave the checkbox "Change password at next login" Our users cannot come on site and we cannot make changes in the AD. By doing research on the internet, I found "Solutions" concerning the level of network authentication, despite that it allows additional security that we had to remove servers in order to allow our users to connect and change password the first time, only it didn't work.     Windows 10 Login password is different than RDP password

    Hi,

    I've recently changed my Microsoft account password which also is my login account to my pc.

    When I connect via RDP, my new password is not working.

    I can only login with my old password.

    I connect to the same user, I see the same desktop and even the account photo is the same.

    I even tried to changed the password through RDP

    and it only changes the Microsoft password (which I use to login locally or to Microsoft services).

    Please Help

    Changing User Accounts Password

    Hi Eddy,



    If you are an Admin user for your Windows 10 device, it’s still possible to change another user’s password. To perform the said task, follow these steps:



    • Simultaneously press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
    • Once accessed, type netplwiz and hit
      Enter.
    • Select the user and choose Reset password.
    • Change it to your preferred password.


    Once done, you may close the window and try to use the new password for the account.

    Can't RDP - wants password

    Should be the User of the PC you're connecting to ...
    MS Account - it's the users (Email & Password)
    Local Account - it's the users (Username & Password)

    Note: Check Credentials Manager > Windows Credentials to see if there are saved credentials for TERMSRV/PCNAME or TERMSRV/IPADDRESS


    FWIW ... Here is my RDC & Windows Credentials. I'm using IP of the Remote PC and Local User Account
