Windows 10: new version of notepad

The 'replace' function on the new version of notepad does not work as I want in this scenario:I have a list of rows with two data elements separated by a comma these are latitude and longitude data with quotes around the data in each row.I am trying to simply remove the quotes, so I 'replace all' the quotation marks with nothing essentially I just want to remove them. When I try this, the data becomes jumbled in an illogical way and does not stay in the original rows with the quotations removed. This did not happen in the previous version of Notepad. I tried different options of unchecki

Notepad on Windows 7\

Suggestion would be uninstall then new install on Win7. Maybe an older version would work better? A list, maybe Version 7?

Press Start then search Manage optional features

Check if Notepad is on the list, If not

Click Add a feature then select notepad

Press WIN+R to open Run

Type: notepad then hit Enter

Navigate to this location then check notepad on the list

C:\WINDOWS\system32
