    Hi all, I was trying to install the 8.19 v ersion, but the installer stated that I should use the version from store and redirected me to store. I already have the store version installed. Every time I am connecting to conference call, I get stuck in strange modal state of Skype that offers me some new features (black text on gray background), and there is no way to exit the modal state. I clicked on every point in Skype window, for no avail. No menu available, nothin available in this state. When I close the Skype window (top right cross), I can still hear the conference sound, so there is not even a way to close Skype without rebooting the computer. Who is responsible for this crap?

    You need to run the installer in compatibility mode for windows 7.
