Windows 10: New W10 install, old MB, no internet

Hi all

Recently installed W10 via the MS d/l tool (saved to a thumb drive from this W7 computer). The MB is an ASUS P6T from about 2009. Everything works as expected, save for my internet connectivity, of which I have none. So I went to the ASUS site, and d/l-ed the LAN driver (from about 2009), and installed. Nada.

W10 machine is hooked up to the same cable modem and Lynksis router as this one via Cat5 (or is it 6?) cable.

Where should I look next, please?

Old MB w/W10?

Hi all

I have an old ASUS P6T w/an Intel Core i7 from 10 (?) years ago. I would like to install W10 (as opposed to 7). I went to the ASUS site, and looked at the MB, but it makes no mention of OS

Does anyone know if I will be able to install and run W10 here? I did a googley, and can't seem to come up with anything.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

how to add contact to new mail in w10

My issue is with W10 new mail. Transferring contacts and (if possible) mail messages from old live mail.

I don't understand the People App?

I cannot see any steps to take me to a contact list on the new mail pages.

I have tried saving from old contacts list , but how to import them?

the references given don't seem to line up with mu window in mail.

Then how to import G-mail address list?
