New W10 laptop, want to use Office 2013 Pro instead of Office 365

    Hi
I've just got a new Windows 10 laptop with O365 home edition trial pre-installed.
I have Office Pro 2013, Visio 2013 and MS Project 2013 that I have legit license keys for, have used happily on W7 and want to continue using instead of O365.
I uninstalled O365 from the Apps and Features control panel.
I installed Office Pro 2013 from the DVD ISO
When I run an office app like Word, I still get the O365 trial registration dialogue, if I cancel that, there's a banner on the office app advising that it will stop working in a few days. There does not seem to be an option to input my Office 2013 key.
I tried using the easy fix tool from the MS office website, re-booted, re-installed O2013, still get the same problem.
Anyone seen the same issue and have a fix?

    Thanks
    David

    :)

They are the same, 365 has less money making schemes, but dumps everything on the cloud.
    365 is online, 2013 is 100% offline.
Also 365 will cost more in the longrun, especially if you dont upgrade for 3 years.

    office 365 vs office 2013

Office 365 is the rental version of Office. It means you must keep paying each month to use it. You also get various benefits such as always the latest version, cloud storage and more. The Microsoft website will tell you about it.

With Office 2013, you stay with the same version until you pay for a new one.

Personally, I would never go with the rental model as you'll end up spending a fortune on it. It's up to you though weigh up the benefits of both and see which suits you best.

The rental model is also known as Software as a Service (SaaS).
