Windows 10: new windows 10 20H2 feature update giving me 0x80004500 error

hi,

when i opened my computer windows 10 20h2 was ready to install, only restart was required but when computer got restarted, it gave following error

i googled about this error, one of the article said to resolve this error, you have to complete following 4 tasks

1 delete contents of download folder in softwareDistribution folder in c drive, so i did it.

2 then it said run window 10 update trouble shooter. i ran it successfully.

3it said disable window 10 defender, so i disabled it.

4Run sfc /scannow.

5 deletes contents of temp folder.

I did all the above 4 steps successfuly.


then when i tried to install new feature update. it again failed, giving following error.

We couldn't check for updates, because you aren't connected to the Internet. Make sure you have a cellular data or Wi-Fi connection and try again.

But this is not true, i was connected to the internet.

plz help me fix this error asap.

Dear community,

I am getting the 0xc1900101 error for a few month already when trying to update my Windows 10.

I tried with the latest feature update to windows 10 version 20H2 today and the problem still remains.

I tried a lot of solutions found on the internet to solve this issue, but none of them worked:

At about 60% of the update, it fails, and Windows rolls back to its previous version.

Any tip on how to get more insight about this error and find a way on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.
