Windows 10: New Windows 11 Pro install won't accept login when you Remote Desktop to it

My existing PC a Windows 10 Pro and remote desktop works fine with it. Built a new PC with Windows 11 Pro using the same login as the Windows 10 pc but remote desktop won't let me login. It connects but tells me that the login is incorrect.How do I go about fixing this. I've compared the Windows 10 and Windows 11 RDP settings and they are the same.

Remote Desktop Login Failed

I just purchased a new Windows 11 system and I am using another Windows 11 system on my laptop to access the system through remote desktop and I get an error that says that the login failed. Something in the new Windows 11 system is blocking logins from remote desktop:

• I am using my standard Windows credentials to login locally. I have Administrator rights to the system, and a local login works fine.
  
• I can use Remote Desktop to login to another similar Windows 11 desktop using remote desktop with the same credentials and that also works fine.
  
• I've enabled Remote Desktop access in settings and specified my account as being authorized to login with Remote Deskttop.
  

I've gone through all the support articles I could find on the internet on this problem and I implemented the group policy fixes that have been recommended but it still hasn't resolved the problem. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Windows 11 pro not connecting to remote desktop

I upgraded my new computer from Windows 11 to Windows 11 pro to be able to access remote desktop and log into my work computer tower. I have tried to login in and cannot figure out how I need to reconfigure the IP setting to give me access.

To change the login method from password to PIN for Remote Desktop in Windows 11 Pro, you can follow these steps:

-Press Windows + i to open Settings.

-Go to Accounts -> Sign In Options.

-Below the PIN option, there should be a button to stop requiring a Windows Hello login for extra security. If there is, turn that off. This should allow you to switch from a password to a PIN.
