  1. New Windows Cumulative Update Problem

The new update removed the GPU Activity Icon every time I boot up the laptop and the taskbar tends to load longer as well, though I am not too sure if the boot-up time of the laptop is affected or not. My GPU Activity Icon is ticked in the Nvidia Control Panel but the icon is missing in the hidden task bar. Only after when I uninstalled the update the icon is there in the taskbar. The taskbar on the other hand was loading longer than it used to. Every time I start up the laptop and log in, the home screen comes up and it takes quite a while for the taskbar to come up later. These were the only

Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.

    New Windows Cumulative Update Problem

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond New Windows Cumulative Update Problem :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
