Windows 10: New Windows Update 6-01-2020

    New Windows Update 6-01-2020


    I recently updated my windows and now it says my version doesnt support remote desktop and I need to upgrade. Why is this? I was using it normally for the update and this is important for me as I am working from home with the pandemic. Why am i now forced to pay 99$ to upgrade when it worked fine before?

    Windows 7 support ended 14/01/2020 yet today(15/01/2020 I received updates. What;s that about?

    The last Security Quality Roll-up Update @ NET Framework + Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool for Win 7.

    Hold off on installing as it seems to be causing issues with some flavors of windows 7.

    The rest has been explained as it relates to different time zones.

    New Windows Update 6-01-2020

    2020-01 Cumulative Update

    You didn't state what your download speed is. Mine is 100Mbps+. The three updates on 01/14/2020 took about 35 minutes to download all three updates. There was some pauses during those downloads. The entire process took 50 minutes until the system had finished restarting.
