  1. New Windows update is killing my RAM

So there was a mandatory update for my gaming PC, and the whole PC crashes after 5 Chrome tabs or Photoshop and Vegas Pro being open... My computer was able to handle GTA V and Fortnite being opened at the same time, now after a Windows update I couldn't stop, the whole PC crashes after 5 Chrome tabs are being opened???? And the screen blacks out and the video driver also crashes because of "NOT ENOUGH RAM"??? Lmaoo, never had this issue before! And I cannot do anything, I don't have backups.

This is the reason why I never let Windows update. It's always a mistake to update it. And now it proved! I just hate it so much, but I don't want to reinstall it because I've got too much stuff going on on my PC and it would be a pain in the ass.

Is there any way to fix this? I don't have recovery points set up. I just really hate Windows. It's the worst, I'm so furious...

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond New Windows update is killing my RAM :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.

    AMD FX OC'ers Club

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
