Windows 10: New Windows updates patch older KBs?

I ran a vulnerability scan and the results show some hosts had a lot missing patches from several years ago. They are now getting patched monthly and have for the last year. So if those older patches didn't get applied, do the new ones fix those vulnerabilities or do I still need to apply those specific patches it says are missing? I guess does the monthly rollup patches fix all known vulnerabilities or just those covered specifically in their release notes?

Cannot find individual KB numbers for patches inside Windows Cumulative Update

I have been trying to find a source for the individual patches contained in the new Windows Cumulative Updates, as I would like to be able to compare the KB numbers against the security bulletins. So far I cannot find the list of contained patches, only an overview.

Are they stored anywhere on the machine (I have checked the registry etc, but only find KBs for the Cumulative Update), if not, is there an online source for this data?

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.
