the iOS version is very limited, it's more like the xbox live hub. you can't control the xbox or buy new movies etc.

There's a reason why the app is called "My Xbox Live" on iOS. It's just a front-end to Xbox.com, like every other site does for iOS. It cannot do anything the companion app on WP7 can do. You can just edit your avatar, send a message (Gold required) and
look at ads for Xbox games. You can't play Xbox Live games or earn achievements. It can't connect to your Xbox and control it or queue up games or movies or anything.

People are freaking out over this for nothing. My Xbox Live has nothing on Xbox Companion.

And I, for one, am glad things like OneNote are on iOS, although once again, very feature incomplete even compared to the Web App! At the end of the day, Microsoft is a platforms company and the important thing is people are using their services. Those services
are further enhanced by using Windows Phone 7.
