Windows 10: Newbie Windows 10 PC will not update and shows 0x80248007 error

Hi, I have a Windows 10 PC that I use daily for work. I recently moved from the US to the EU so the PC was in storage for 5 to 6 months. It's been working fine but after adding a new EU printer I noticed it started showing this error message 0x80248007. I tried disabling updates and then re-enabling it and tried restarting Windows Update. It does nothing. I have a similar problem, but it's different enough there might be another solution. So I hope you can take a look at this. I'm just updating my PC from 8.1 to 10. I did a clean install and everything went fine as far as I can see and this is the 5th PC
I've updated in the last month. This time the following PC hardware driver updates are failing and showing error 0x80248007:

• Intel Series/C22o Series SMBus Controller - 8C22
• Intel Management Engine Interface
• Logitech USB Input Device (Logitech Download Assistant)
• NVidia Graphics Adapter WDDM2.0 - NVIDIA GeForce GT 625

According to Device Manager all these devices are working fine, but apparently MS thinks they need updates and they seem to be having trouble authenticating the updates.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the ideas. I had already run 1 updater . . . followed your instructions with no luck.

The system scan came back with no integrity violations. Got a message from the second updater (had that before) about a database corruption issue - applied the fix. Here are the results:

Windows could not automatically detect this network's proxy settings - Detected

Some security setting are missing or have been changed - Fixed

Service registration is missing or corrupt - Fixed

Potential Windows Update Database error detected - Fixed

Windows Update components must be repaired - Fixed

Check for pending updates - Fixed

Nope: Security Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3172729) - Error 0x80248007

The machine is a Dell Inspiron 5000 series with Core I7 and 16GB of memory - about 3 years old.

It is backed up.
