    Newer versions of OpenGL not installing


    This problem has been going on for a while now, but I just recently got a new graphics card and OpenGL still won't install any version above 1.1. I have an RTX 3060. Any solutions?

    How to install OpenGL 4.6 or update support to install and run OpenGL 4.6?

    Unfortunately, your graphics adapter only supports OpenGL 4.0.

    It is not possible to update it OpenGL, unless you install a graphics card that supports a newer OpenGL version.

    The latest version of OpenGL that your system can handle is typically installed when you install or update your graphics card device driver

    Go to the support page for your graphics card, then download and install the latest version of the driver form there . . .

    It is possible your graphics does not support OpenGL 3.3 - what is the exact graphics o your system - Open Device Manager, expand the Display Adapters section - what is the exact model of graphics listed there?

    Open GL is installed with your graphics driver. If your graphics driver is up to date, the graphics card does not support newer OpenGL versions.

    What is your graphics card? To check it, on the Start Menu, type dxdiag and press enter. Please share the screenshot of the Display tab(s).
