Windows 10: Newest documentation for Windows Platform Crypto Provider

The "Using the Windows 8 Platform Crypto Provider..." V1.1 documentation is available on Github along with the programming examples, but hasn't been updated for 9 years. Since then "ncrypt.h" has added a number of "NCRYPT_PCP_..._PROPERTY" values that seem to have no documentation associated with them. Some of these are fairly obvious "GET" properties, but most provide no guidance on the input or output data formats...Would it be possible to get an update of the "Provider Properties" table starting at about page 16 of the PCP user guide and descriptions of the associated data structures? Or

I understand from your message that you have frequently encountered Microsoft Platform Crypto Provider Return Code: 0x80090011.

The event log suggest that it may be related to the TPM chip compatibility of the computer.

Did your PC reboot just once after update to Windows 11, or it still reboots till now?

You can perform a clean boot and check if there is some interruption.

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Bitlocker and Trusted Platform Module problems

This issue usually occurs because the Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
uses the manufacturer driver and not the Windows built-in Trusted Platform Module driver.

To resolve this, you can manually uninstall and reinstall Trusted Platform Module. To do so, see the steps below:

• Open Device Manager on the device on which you are experiencing the issue
• Uninstall the Trusted Platform Module driver.
