Windows 10: Newest update has caused issue with sleep mode on my Dell Venue Pro 10 5055 tablet

I'm not the most versed in computer stuff, so please forgive if mistake some terminology. Onto the issue:

So my tablet has a 64 bit processor, but my former university IT managed to install Windows 10 Home 32 bit on it, probably for lightening the demand on the machine. I don't think it would be able to run 10 otherwise. So my specs in setting say x86 bit framework, if that's relevant.

The newest updates uninstalled a bunch of drivers from the tablet, but I managed to reinstall them. I don't know the exact names (version?) of them, but the first Windows updates were installed on 8/15/20, then updated again this week. Starting a bit after that update on 8/15, every time my tablet goes to sleep, I can't wake it up. Hard restart doesn't work, charging it doesn't even turn on the light indicator. I know it's still running bc the tablet is warm to the touch.

I let the tablet die entirely, charge it until it has enough battery to respond, and it will turn on and run without (apparent) issue. Until it goes to sleep again. I know I can bypass this by disabling sleep, but 1) I want to be able to use sleep mode, and 2) I'm afraid this is evidence of other issues, maybe I didn't get every driver that was uninstalled back, but running Dell support finds no issue.

Can anyone even begin to direct me to a possible solution?

ETA wrt to the bot comment: I can't access my update history atm bc my tablet is currently still stuck in sleep mode. When I can, I will add it to the post if it will help.

DELL VENUE 10 PRO 5055 driver error

Hello, I have just reinstalled windows 10 on a dell venue 10 pro 5055 but no drivers of touch screen, sound and battery meter will not show. I have download all drivers from the Dell Website, but after installation, they still don't work.
Please help me I am not able to use the device There is no sound, touch screen and camera don't work.. Please please help me...

 

Windows 10 Broke Dell Venue Pro Sleep Mode

I just installed the Windows 10 update on my dell venue pro 8 and now went I put it into sleep mode, it cannot wake up. the screen is stuck black (but illuminated). I have to press and hold both side and top buttons and restart it every time. Any thoughts
on a fix?

 

Dell Venue 8 Pro will not wake from sleep in W10

I have a Dell Venue 8 Pro which I recently updated to Windows 10. I am loving it, but there is a minor/major issue (depending on how I am feeling that particular day). If the tablet goes to sleep (or if I put it to sleep) I cannot wake it. I have to shut
it down by holding the power button for10 seconds and then re-start it. It did not have this issue before the update, I have not made any settings changes.

Love my tablet and LOVE my Windows 10!
