Windows 10: Newest Update of Windows 10 broke EVERY recording feature of SoundBlaster Z

Hey people,


I am kinda annoyed. Everytime Microsoft forces their **** on me, I am not spending my time using MY (!) computer, but to revert all the garbage that comes with it - Ribbon need to be fixed, Cortana to be killed, the **** startmenu needs to get reverted, I need my login sound and to remove the volume meter. EVERY TIME. But now they also broke my hardware:


Since the latest pile of crap, ahem, "Microsoft Update", I can not record ANYTHING with ANY driver or ANY program.

(Yes, I did clean re-install them). What is the matter now again?


I sit down on my "P"C (actually it's taken over by this disgustingly incompetent software company called Microsoft apparently since it's not personal anymore) and want to record some "What you hear" (or Stereomix) and every program claims: "Can't open hardware". Why is that? Why is the ENTIRE recording feature broken?! I can not use my MIC, nor the LINE-IN, Nothing.


Am I now being ping-ponged back and forth between Creative that does not care (and let's be honest: Their drivers worked before, so the blame goes 100% to Microsoft) and MS? Or can you actually help me? I mean, I paid money for that feature basically, and now Microsoft incomepent "programers" take it away? May I get a refund from MS, after all, it's "Supported by Win10".


I hope you can understand spending 2 hours fixing what not should be broken gets everyone heated.

Seriously hoping Linux is raising fast so I can abandon this sorry excuse of an "operating" (ha, ha, ha...) "system"..

Creative Soundblaster Z control panel issue

Soundblaster Z control panel lost most of the features after Windows update to 17101.rs4. I've tried to reinstal whole driver pack (SBZ_CD_L13_1_01_10) without succes. Any clues?

 

Creative Soundblaster Z - Media driver updates

Hello! I´ve seen a Creative Media Driver Update on the Windows Update catalog page for my Soundblaster Z: CREATIVE - MEDIA - 9/18/2017 12:00:00 AM - 6.0.105.11

The Problem is i can´t install it, every Time i try to install it, it says the best driver is allready installed!

Can someone help me pls? Thanks!

 

Major BUG: GPU-Z causes Windows 10 PC to hard lock

I am a proud beta tester of GPU-Z! Also, I have suggested many features/new functions over the years, many of which were implemented by GPU-Z author. *Smile
So, I like GPU-Z and do not want to use anything else for this.

Could be not GPU-Z, in fact. Maybe a combination of those latest AMD Radeon drivers+my Windows 10 being Insider Preview.
MY Windows 10 OS is the Insider Preview kind, maybe I should have mentioned that.

RE Core Temp, I have translated it into Bulgarian, and also suggested some new features, implemented by author (for Core Temp, just a few - less than those I suggested for GPU-Z). *Smile
So, likewise I like it and do not want to stop using it. *Wink
