Windows 10: Newly built pc, fresh install of win 10 in offline mode would not detect ethernet or wifi...

Hello,Running into a weird issue here and hoping to get some assistance, I built a friends PC and was able to install Windows 10 from a boot drive. When installing Windows, it would not detect wifi or ethernet, so I installed with offline mode. When first getting into the PC, ethernet wasnt working, but eventually worked after the pc went through some set up for ASUS ROG software. Wifi and Bluetooth are not visible when trying to connect to either a network or device does not give option to turn on either. Issues Connecting Newly Built PC to Ethernet

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right section but I'm having issues getting my newly built PC connected to the Internet. I have an Ethernet cord plugged into my modem and into my PC but Windows is not detecting a connection. Any help is appreciated.

If this is of any help, my MOBO is an MSI Z97 Gaming 5.

 

Fresh Windows 10 doesn't detect home WiFi

Hi,
On newly installed Windows 10 I have problems with Wifi connection. OS doesn't detect my home WiFi. But it can detect WiFi shared from my phone. On the same PC I have Linux installed and it CAN detect and connect to the WiFi, so it's not network range issue.

Here's what I already tried to do:
> tried to connect on fresh system AND after installing network card drivers
> turn firewall on and off
> enter WiFi data manually (pretending that this WiFi is hidden - in fact it is not). Still getting connection error
> Restarting router few times

Does anyone of you have idea what might be the problem?

My WiFi card is:
8level PCIe Wireless N300 802.11n/b/g (WPCIE-300A)

 

Fresh Install of Win 10 without Serial Key?

Looking to reformat a laptops HDD, and then reinstall Win 10 fresh. The problem is it came pre-installed with Win 8 and I did the free upgrade to Win 10. How exactly would I re-format the HDD, reinstall Win 10 and ensure it reactivates properly? I don't see a Win 8 serial key anywhere in the contents of the box.
