Windows 10: Newly built PC, Windows installed but won't start

Windows 10 x64 Education seems to install fine. But when it tries to actually start up, I get a frozen screen that says "Pro series" which refers to the motherboard. After installation it shows this screen with messages like "Getting ready", then restarts again and that's when the problem starts. Every time I restart my computer I get the same frozen "Pro series" screen.


Things I've tried:

• Reinstalling Windows, multiple times, using two different USB sticks.
• Installing Windows on a spare HDD.
• Removing one stick of RAM, then the other.
• Resetting the CMOS.
• Updating the BIOS.
• Resetting the PC - I got the message "There was a problem resetting your PC. No changes were made."
• Unplugging everything I can: all USB devices, the front panel USB and audio, RGB, SATA.
• Starting in Safe Mode.
• Running sfc /scannow - no integrity violations were found.

Disk checker has also run a couple of times.


I can't use System Image Recovery, Start-up Repair or System Restore without inputting a password for "defaultuser0" - but no password seems to exist.


I assume the fact it doesn't work with either a SSD or HDD rules out those as the problem.

It seems unlikely the RAM is the problem if it doesn't matter which stick/slot I use.

I'm getting a display so I assume ? the GPU is OK.

That seems to leave the motherboard. If I really must take it all apart again and get a replacement motherboard I will, but Ireally don't want to do that if I'm not sure that's the problem.

Windows 10 won´t start any program as Administrator

Hello. I´m having this issue since installed one of the latest Windows 10 system updates.

When I try to open any program that requires Administrator confirmation (that screen with the Yes/No question), this dialog won´t appear anymore. The screen background stays darkened and nothing happens.

1. Using Windows 10 Home (x64)
2. My microsoft user account is properly checked
3. I´m the administrator of the PC
4. Already tried do create another administrator user account - same problem, no success
5. Cannot start any program/service that requires administrator authorization (not even regedit)

Please help!

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
