Windows 10: Newly created folders on desktop goes into recycle bin in Windows 10

When I create a new folder on my desktop in windows 10, it automatically gets deleted and goes into the recycle bin. If I pull it out of the recycle bin, it gets deletes and goes back into the recycle bin. If I create a new folder in another location another folder and drag it onto the desktop, it remains there. I have checked my windows updates and I am current. I have run multiple antivirus programs and no viruses were found. This just occurred yesterday. Any help is greatly appreciated.Arnold

We highly suggest to follow the steps below:

• Click the Start button , type desktop icons into the search box, and then click Show or hide common icons on the desktop.
• In the Desktop Icon Settings dialog box, do one of the following: To hide the Recycle Bin, clear the Recycle Bin check box. ...
  
• Click OK.

• Right click on the Desktop, select
  Personalize.
• Click on Themes in the left pane of this window.
• Click on Desktop icon settings
  and click on Recycle bin icon.
• Click Apply and Ok.
• Now you will be able to see Recycle bin on the desktop.
