Windows 10: Newly installed language pack does not appear on the language bar for selection

In the Windows 11, I installed Japanese language pack in addition to the default language pack which is English. I also selected in "Settings> Time and Language > Language & region > Typing > advanced keyboard settings > Switching input methods > language bar option > and clicked <show additional language bar icons in the task bar>. However, language bar on the task bar does not show "Japanese" for selection. Please advise how to add "Japanese" in the language bar on the task bar, for subsequent use.

UP to today, searching, downloading and installing language pack is still time very consuming, very headack process! Ever MS make this process standard, easy available?

I have the same problem, BUT the language I want to install, Japanese, is in the computer yet transparent and cannot be clicked on. Can you help me?

There are few languages that windows 10 has pre installed in the system itself, I suggest that you check these languages and locate the language that you want to install. Follow the steps below to locate the language.

• Click on the Start Menu, locate and select Settings.
• Click on Time and Language.
• Locate and select Region and Language.
• Click on Add a Language.

If you cannot find the language there you can download a language pack for Windows 10 from the link below:
