Windows 10: Newly reinstalled itunes does not play via Bluetooth on win11 Dell Insignia...

My Win11/Dell Insignia computer is 2 weeks old. I implemented and played iTunes files via a Bose Bluetooth speaker 2-3 times prior to today, but this function is not operating successfully today. I spoke with Dell support who did a remote diagnostic and suggested a corrupted iTunes implementation. I removed the iTunes SW and reinstalled from the Microsoft site - without improvement. Audio from my local iTunes installation plays normally on the system's wired speakers. Audio from YouTube.com plays fine on the Bluetooth device. My system's app control screens show that the Bose Bluetooth dev

itunes will not play after a reinstall of windows 10

in device mgr, my sound is: IDT High definition audio CODEC. it has issues:

- no driver is installed

-the box for rollback is greyed out

- when I attempt to update driver, it will not complete the process

- under Events: it lists many attempts to install the driver from the original date of my windows reinstall. in some cases it says reinstall complete, then later in list it shows a request for reinstall

I agree, a reinstall of the driver is the next step, but I have tried multiple times and windows will not complete the process. I do not know the manufacturer and how to update using their driver. oddly. itunes is the only impacted program. other sound apps
are able to play sounds

We suggest you to update your
Bluetooth Device Driver. To do this, open Device Manager and follow the steps below:

  Win + R, type devmgmt.msc to open the Device Manager. Expand
