Windows 10: News and interests is displaying in Chinese

Split from this thread.Hello, need help, just got new laptop and loaded up everything. this news and interest app is displaying all in Chinese. I've done every settings to ensure all languages on my laptop is in EnglishHow do i get this app to display in English?

Display Chinese in Windows 10

Welcome to Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 is much appreciated.

If the language pack is installed in Chinese then you only you can see Chinese display.

After installing follow the steps to change the language:

• 
  Press Windows+X key on the key board
  
• 
  select control panel and then
  
• 
  go to language and then
  
• 
  Select advance settings under
  override display language you will get that language option to select for which you have install the language pack.

Can't change the display language from Chinese to English in Windows 10

Thank you for the response and keeping the status updated.

I would suggest you, try removing Chinese language pack and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps.

• 
  Type Language in the search area on the taskbar and select
  Language.
  
• 
  Select the Chinese language and click on
  Move down (if it is on the top).
  
• 
  Click on Remove Option.

How do I changed the "Displayed Language" on my HTC HD7 to Chinese?

The Windows Phone update process cannot add or remove display languages. Although newer versions of the Windows Phone software might add support for additional display languages, the new languages will only be available on new phones. After you update
your phone, you'll continue to have the same display languages that you had before the update.

Here are the steps to view available display languages:

• From the Start screen, flick left and tap Settings

• Tap Region+language.
• Tap the language listed under Display language to see which other languages are available.

If available choose the region format of your version of Chinese;System Locale and choose your version of Chinese from the drop down list;
Browser and search language and Display Language as well. Some changes may require a restart of your phone.

Most phones display language is locked to the carrier and region that the phone was sold in.

You can also change the keyboard under settings->system->keyboard
to different input languages of Chinese.
