Discus and support NFTS Drive error with CHKDSK in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I have some Data on a USB-Stick, that i am not allowed to loose, but now I cant mount it.     NFTS Drive error with CHKDSK


    I have some Data on a USB-Stick, that i am not allowed to loose, but now I cant mount it. Windows Explorer says: "D:\ is not accessible. The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable."I ran CHKDSK as admin and am getting different error codes based on the args. for the logs of chkdsk /f resulting error 1603 see this pastebin.for the logs of chkdsk /f /r resulting error 14cd see this pastebin.I have looked online but can't find any information on these errors. I need the documents on this usb drive. Thanks in advance

    EXFAT and NFTS compatibility

    I have an external SSD drive for file storage/archiving (Oyen), formatted EXFAT. My Dell w/Windows 10 is NFTS. Will there be any problems or speed issues using this combo, or is it necessary to convert the External Drive to NFTS?

    chkdsk c: /F

    It might be an error on the drive. We suggests that you follow the troubleshooting steps below:

    • Run Disk Cleanup utility to clear your junk files.
    • Open an elevated CMD type sfc /scannow and hit Enter to run the System File Checker.
    • Once the scan is completed, restart your computer. Remember to exit ChkDsk
      during boot.
    • Next, again open CMD as admin type
      Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth       and hit Enter to repair the Windows image.
    • Now see if ChkDsk able to complete the scan.

    Note: Before doing the steps, make sure you save a back up of your files.

    Let us know how it goes.

    NFTS from Fat32

    should I reformat all older USB flash drives then restore the data.

    some files are stored under Fat32 and I want to keep them but many times I get error that says transfer to NFTS is not available for this drive, [[
