    NIC card has no wifi, but wifi has just appeared on my pc... IntelR Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165


    I came home and all of a sudden my pc was connected to wifi.... i bought this dell PC workstation with no WIFI card.... i have had it for 4-6 years... never had wifi, integrated nic card doesnt have wifi. no it says i have IntelR Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165But now all of a sudden i have wifi??? I was using the pc and internet all day, i left for like an hour came back and my pc was connected to wifi, how? I have router for wifi for cameras, phones, etc. but my pc has always been connected to lan, "hardwired" by cat cord. I dont even have a pc option to connect to lan now.Password didnt work f

    Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 Error Code: 45

    Hello LordAinz, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

    I understand that the Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 device appears in the device manager with error code 45;

    Initially I recommend that you check for updates on Windows Update;

    Press Windows key + i and go to Update and Security;

    Click Check for updates and do ALL pending updates;

    Go to Device Manager and uninstall Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165;

    After uninstalling restart the PC;

    Go to the link below and download and install the first driver from the list for the Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 device:

    Check that the device now works normally;

    Wifi constantly dropping out - Intel (R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 network adapter

    Purchased a new HP Envy laptop 2 years ago. It came with Intel (R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 network adapter. From day one the wireless dropped out on numerous routers. The machine has been replaced twice by Computer World but I've had the same problem
    with each machine. Any suggestions?

    Original Title: Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165

    My Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 has a problem which is code 45 and I need help fixing this. I'm not sure what I should do and I do not understand when it's says "reconnect this hardware device to the computer."

    Also when I go to my device manager and expand Network Adapters I only see 3 points/devices and when I go to view, and click "show hidden devices" that's when I see all the other devices including my Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165
