Windows 10: Nice No 'Curve' w/ Win11

Well, I sure do appreciate my time since the end of June 2021 working with Win11 Dev, as a Windows Insider. It gave me an opportunity to really know Win11 when a couple of days ago arrived. I have had a new Win11 capable tower built and sitting patiently in its shiny cardboard box since October 2021. I was waiting for it to be available in the MS e-Company Store. Just felt like sharing my glee at finally, at long last, enjoying Win11 with this nice new machine . Running a Dev IB as a vm is one thing, but this is truly a joy & a pleasureCheers,Drew

Nice if Start screen "remembered" its position

This is not really a problem to be solved now, but a suggestion to Microsoft for a future update or version of Windows.

It would be nice if the Start screen remembered its position. For example, if I open the Start screen and scroll down to those applications that start with the letter "W", the next time I open the Start screen, it reverts back to displaying the top of the
list. It would be nice if it "remembered" I was on "W" and opened at that position.

After going through the details it looks like there is a compatibility issue.

I suggest you to install the key board driver in compatibility mode from the below link and check if this helps. Follow the below steps.

Which devices are supported by Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center?

• Right-click on the setup file of the driver and selectProperties.
• Select Compatibility tab.
• Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.
• Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

Taskbar bug: switching to another window -will not appear at the front


Follow either of these steps to fix the issue with the Active window hiding behind.

Method 1:
I suggest you to disable window by hovering over it with the mouse and check if it helps. To do so I suggest you to try the below given steps and check if it helps:

1. Press Windows key + X key and click on Control Panel.
2. Select or click Ease of Access.
3. Click or tap onEase of Access Centre.
4. Click on Make the Mouse Easier to Use was uncheck Activate Window by hovering over it with the mouse.
5. Check if issue is resolved.

Method 2:
I would suggest you to completely uninstall the touchpad driver and reinstall it. Kindly follow the below given steps.

1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.
2. In the list of devices, you should see the touchpad drivers.
3. Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".
4. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
5. In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.
