Windows 10: Night Light not working on External Monitor Windows 11

Hello,I have a Windows Surface Pro 11th Snapdragon Plus. It is connected to my Dell P2423D external monitor through an Anker C565 11-in-1 docking station with HDMI cable plus USB cable. The night mode is not displayed on the external monitor, even turning it on and off, while it correctly works in the Surface. In the Settings, the night mode is correctly turned on for both displays.I did not have this issue with my other laptop, which has a HDMI port and therefore does not need a docking station.What can I do?Many thanks,Davide

Night Light Setting and Third Monitor.

Hi Reagan,

We would like to ask you some questions in order assist you properly:

• Did Night light work previously on all three monitors?
• Have you made any recent changes to your PC?
• Are you getting an error message on the third monitor regarding Night light?
• Is the third monitor being detected by your PC?
• What troubleshooting steps have you performed so far?

While waiting for your response, we suggest that you try to connect your third monitor to what you are using on the 2 working monitors to see if it is only a loose connection issue.

Windows Night Light always on for laptop monitor.

Hi All

I have a problem with windows night light that started recently (two weeks ago at most). When I (re)start my computer with or without a monitor connected, windows night light works fine (following a scheme as it's supposed to). However, as soon as I change
display (switch from "second screen only" to "extended", (dis)connect an external monitor etc.), a windows night light filter gets added to my laptop monitor, while the setting still appears to be off (until next sunset). Turning off night light altogether
changes nothing, "turn on now" only adds more blue-light filtering (on top of what's already filtered, incorrectly).

Since I'm switching display all the time, this problem is very annoying!

I'm using windows 10 Home, Version 1709, build 1299.371. I have the latest windows updates installed, and my display drivers are up to date as well. Any suggestions?

I did the steps you described, but the problem remained the same after doing so:

After reboot, the night light setting was disabled and there was no blue-light filtering, as it should be. However, as soon as I (dis)connect any external monitor, some blue-light filtering is applied to my laptop screen (although according to the settings,
night light is still off).
