Windows 10: Night light off after screen wakes from sleep

I have this problem on the latest Windows 11 and have tried everything, but nothing seems to fix it.Night light off after screen wakes from sleepI switched from HDMI to DisplayPort today but that still didn't fix it, even though I thought it did for a bit.It seems related to how fast I move the mouse to wake the screen from sleep mode.- I have tried removing color profiles- Tried disabling the integrated AMD graphics driver and only having the Nvidia driver enabled for RTX 4060- It didn't always seem like an issue until about a year ago- Tried updating graphics driver but that didn't work- Tri

Night light off after screen wakes from sleep

I have the issue that night light is always off when my screen comes back from a (blank) screen saver or the PC wakes from sleep. This has been mentioned several times but the recommended solutions do no address this issue but the issue that night light
is not working at all. So to clarify, night light is working, it is just off when the screen comes back from screen saver. If I then check the night light setting, it is enabled and the slider is in the correct position but I need to briefly click on the slider
for the feature to actually come on again. This is rather annoying as I often work at night and need to do this several times a day then.

Is there a solution for this? And again, please do not post any links on "how to fix night light not working" because it is working. It is simply off after waking from screen saver.

BTW I am on an HP ZBOOK 15 G2 laptop with NVIDIA Quadro 1100M and Intel HD 4600 (which Windows has stopped with Code 43 - I tried many things including the usual driver roll-back/update/removing hardware and letting it autodetect again etc, but have not
been able to resolved it, so I assume that the system uses the NVIDIA card only - on the latest drivers). I run WIN 10 Pro, ver 2004 and am using an external monitor AOC Q3277.

Hey people. My night light returns to normal brightness when i wake up the monitor?

Hello.

I have my night light set to come on at 9pm every night.

My screen is set to turn off on battery after after 3 minutes, However, when i Wake up the screen the brightness returns to normal and i have to manually set the night light again.

Is there a fix for this?

I have tried deleting the blue light folders within the registry as suggested in another post to no avail.

Windows 10 night light stuck on

The Night Light feature on my Windows 10 computer is stuck on, and will not turn off. I can turn it off by turning the intensity down to zero, but no other controls have any effect on it. Turning it off with the control panel does not turn it off.

I have tried:

• Turning on and off the night light schedule
  
• Checking my graphics driver (it's already up to date)
  
• sfc /scannow (no problems detected)
  

This is the second time it's happened; the first time was solved by running sfc /scannow and rebooting. I suspect just a reboot would fix this, but I would like to not have to constantly reboot just to solve this minor issue - I'd like a real solution for it.

This happened when the system went to sleep while the night light was on, and woke up outside of night light schedule hours. Previously this would often result in a state where you could simply toggle the night light off and on again to get it to reset to whatever the appropriate setting was for the schedule. Now I'm unable to toggle the night light off and on again because I can't turn it off at all, by any means - I can only turn it down to zero manually.

This seems to me like a bug - Windows isn't properly managing the interaction between sleep/wake and the night light schedule. If it's not a bug, I'd love to know how to fix it! If it is a bug, I'd love to see it fixed!
