Windows 10: Night Light Shift Windows 10 on monitor connected via USB

Hi all,At my company, a few users have a three monitor setup on their desk to perform their work. One of my users recently decided to use night shift on his computer then reported that the display changed only on two out of his three monitors. I noticed that the two monitors it worked on were both connected to the computer through DisplayPort using both of the computer's output ports, while the third monitor was connected to the machine using an HP USB Graphics Adapter.My conclusion here is that Windows cannot tell the third monitor to change its colors because it is connected to USB, is tha

Night Light Setting and Third Monitor.

We would like to ask you some questions in order assist you properly:

• Did Night light work previously on all three monitors?
• Have you made any recent changes to your PC?
• Are you getting an error message on the third monitor regarding Night light?
• Is the third monitor being detected by your PC?
• What troubleshooting steps have you performed so far?

While waiting for your response, we suggest that you try to connect your third monitor to what you are using on the 2 working monitors to see if it is only a loose connection issue.

1. Are you able to enable Night light feature on the issue monitor, when connected using a DVI or HDMI cable?

2. Is the Night light feature option greyed out in Settings?

I'd suggest you to update the display adapter and check. Refer this article on

Windows Night Light always on for laptop monitor.

Hi All

I have a problem with windows night light that started recently (two weeks ago at most). When I (re)start my computer with or without a monitor connected, windows night light works fine (following a scheme as it's supposed to). However, as soon as I change
display (switch from "second screen only" to "extended", (dis)connect an external monitor etc.), a windows night light filter gets added to my laptop monitor, while the setting still appears to be off (until next sunset). Turning off night light altogether
changes nothing, "turn on now" only adds more blue-light filtering (on top of what's already filtered, incorrectly).

Since I'm switching display all the time, this problem is very annoying!

I'm using windows 10 Home, Version 1709, build 1299.371. I have the latest windows updates installed, and my display drivers are up to date as well. Any suggestions?
