Windows 10: Nightlight Error

I'm having a problem with windows10's nightlight as it kept turning on automatically whenever I started the computer. I just bought my computer not so long ago and this first happened when I logged into my Microsoft account, it suddenly turned nightlight on after that moment. Something strange happened while I was trying to find the nightlight option to turn it off, I typed "nightlight" on the search bar of windows, clicked it, then it went back to normal even though the mode has never been turned on or turned off, I didn't even have the chance to do anything, it just suddenly went off after I

I deleted the two registry entries suggested here, but the nightlight setting is still grayed out, nightlight

If I create a new account this setting works fine . I could delete the malfunctioning account but short of copying the registry from one account to another, I don't know how to move the files and few setting and make a few programs available in the new.
If I copy and move the registry then the defect follows.

Any suggestions please.

Thank you for the answer. I am rather weary of replacing the OS to correct the nightlight problem. I can just start using another account, a less drastic solution. The SSD is not easily swapped so I would have to erase the current drive or install
over, a sometimes problematic step. Thanks.
