I just searched the model # you posted above and this is the 1st one on the google list , only you can tell if it is the exact model though....

Visit the support page for your Philips LCD monitor with SmartControl Lite 223V5LSB2/10

    scroll down...........

if you download the readme , next to the win7 file it tell you how to install it. but basically just follow what you did above to find its a pnp monitor as i said ,then click properties and you will see a new dialog box with a driver tab , click it and then update driver , search my computer , and then show it where you extracted the phillips zip file.

Thing is that Philips has made some identical looking monitors which are apparently called pretty much the same 223v5 but with a different suffix and that's why I thought that you may have found the exact one but I've done it either way. Took me a couple of minutes to figure it out but I did it. I also have to choose from "Generic Non-PnP" and "Generic PnP". I believe it would've worked on the latter as well? But I don't know for sure. Either way, I've solved this problem but now if I have the icons and text at 100% it looks kinda blurry. I've tried with ClearType Text but it doesn't seem to change much so I've upped it to 125% where it seems to be a little bit better but maybe that's just me and I'm tired and that's why I can't see clearly. Anyways, solved 1 problem. 99 more to go. *Smile Thanks for helping me.

My NEC monitors are 23 inch and I use 125% at 1920 too ....bad eyes here though and I don't like sitting 2-3 feet from my Monitor.

I think I saw other threads mention "Blurry in win10 " though I haven't followed up on them as I haven't had that issue myself.

Making sure you are using 60hz may help , higher if possible .

I do use 60hz. I don't know, perhaps I'm just tired, it sometimes happens to see blurry when I am really tired. Also, since I am here. I also have some problems with my mouse. Where should I post a thread? In the General Problems or Drivers and Hardware?

I do not see any category for peripherals.

Well, it randomly disconnects and reconnects.. I bought a new mouse but the problem persists. I thought it may be the Windows so I've reinstalled it but it still does that. I've checked to see if the USB ports are alright and they seem to be as any other device I plug in (from stick to keyboard to headset) work perfectly. Everything but the mice apparently. I'm not quite sure what else I could do.

P.S: I may have to add that the LED of the mouse doesn't turn off but only the sensor (same for my previous mouse) so that's why I believe that it may not be a hardware problem.
P.S2: some texts on some websites started quivering now, lol Windows 10.

Sounds like you need to update drivers for all your hardware for Windows 10 ?

wireless mouse? bluetooth? I would update all the drivers you can and see how you get on....

Nope, just a normal wired mouse.

I should of said above , it sounds a bit like your USB is acting up , if it's the same on all ports then I'd assume a driver issue , rather than a worn/faulty port .

There are no drivers for the said mouse. I bought a cheap Marvo mouse to check if it was the mouse or the something else. I previously had a Hama uRage mouse that worked fine for 2 years until two weeks ago when it started. Then I plugged in an old, beaten up SteelSeries Kinzu I had years and years ago and it worked just fine.. I don't know. I believe I will buy a SteelSeries Rival 100 and see if the problem persists.

For the mouse, you can see if power management for the USB ports is enabled to let the system shut them off to save power. In Device Manager "Universal Serial Bus Controllers".

there is also an option in the Advanced Settings for your Power Scheme called USB Selective Suspend which you could turn off too.

Stick with the Kinzu a while then and see if the issue comes back.

@zekeblue - I've tried that back on Windows 7 too and the problem still persisted. @Kbird - I will try and stick with the Kinzu a couple of days but it will be very frustrating lol.

  14. If you are by any chance using the USB3.0 port for your mouse, I would recommend that you update the driver at:

    Gigabyte Support

PS. I noticed that there are different revisions of your Motherboard, you need to check which one you have before you download drivers!

And how do I do that? Anyways, 2 hours with the SS Mouse and no interruptions. It would've happened by now if it was malfunctioning like the previous one. Any verdicts? *Smile I am thinking of ordering the Rival 100 today and, well, see what's up.
