    No activation


    Help. I was an insider running 10240 my pc was originally on 8.1 after 29th I left insider program and downloaded windows 10 to pen drive, did a clean install, expecting it to automatically be activated. Instead it is not (it was before) the error code is 0xc004c003. I have no idea what went wrong. And I'm stuck.

    Any help would be appreciated, starting to panic.

    hi, I used the usb boot tool and installed windows 10S on my laptop. I realized I couldn't download anything not from the app store so I purchased windows 10 home. I was given a product key but it is not accepted in the activation settings. Just trying to
    get this laptop operable.

    No activation

    If you were trying to get the free Win 10 update, you would need to install & activate either Windows 7 or 8. Upgrade to Windows 10 (so Windows 10 shows activated), then at this time you should be able to do a clean install

    It suddenly changed to activated. Must have been Ms servers overloaded and just taking time to catch up.
