Windows 10: No Administrative permissions, even though my account is Administrator? How can I fix this?

Normally when I'm deleting files off of my computer, it works just fine, but for some reason there are certain files that prevent me from deleting them. I've looked towards an answer for this multiple times, and each thing I've tried, it has never worked. My account for sure has Admin permissions, I've checked through settings, as well as in commands. But for some reason whenever I try to delete these certain files, it prevents me from doing so with the prompt, "You require permission from Administrators to make changes to this folder", I've even went into the properties for said folder and at

Let us assist you to have an Administrator permission. To start, follow the steps below to enable the Windows Super Administrator Account.

• Type CMD on the search box.
• CMD will appear at top.
• Right click on it, then choose Run as administrator.
• Type this command & hit Enter: Net user administrator /active:yes.
• After you enable the Super Administrator account, log out on your existing account then log into Super Administrator account.
• On the Super Administrator account, you can now create an Administrator account or give Administrator permission on the existing account.

After you created an Administrator account, we suggest that you disable the Super Administrator account by following the same steps and using this command:
Net user administrator /active:no.

HOW TO TURN ON CORTANA ADMINISTRATIVE PERMISSION

To turn on Cortana's administrative permissions, you can follow these steps:

1. Click on the Start Menu button in the lower left corner of your screen and type "Cortana" in the search bar.
   
2. Right-click on the Cortana search result and select "Run as administrator" from the menu.
   
3. If prompted by User Account Control, click "Yes" to grant administrative access.
   
4. Once Cortana is open with administrative permissions, you should be able to access any features or settings that require elevated privileges.
   

 

Boot into Windows as administrator

You set up the admin password when installing XP, but most the time people believe it is for their individual account and not the Administrator one. As for Vista, like stated before, the initial account created is an administrator account, and if necessary, you may need to right click certain programs to "Run as Administrator"
