  1. No Administrator Rights On The PC Windows 10

I was forced to Restore my desktop HP running Win 10 earlier today. When the restoration was complete, I found I'd lost my Administrator Privileges. And no matter what I've tried, I can't get them back, because, from the looks of it, I need Admin Privileges to retrieve my lost Admin Privileges; I've followed the instructions I've seen on at least half a dozen websites including this one, and all the same, and at every turn, I'm stopped; I end up getting a variation of the picture below which is from my attempt to install driver software from a disk:

No Administrator Rights On The PC Windows 10 6ebb198a-ab6a-409e-9704-17d2e65d2136?upload=true.jpg

As you can see, the only choice is No.

I can't create another account because I'm not given that option when I try. I restarted with the Space Bar depressed, and when I tried Recovery, I got this: Can't open file: X\sources\recovery\Tools\HP\Rita-tool\. I can't even completely Restore my computer, because, again, I need Admin Privileges to do it see below.

I'd appreciate any help on this. At this point, all I want to do is completely Restore the computer and start over, but if I can avoid that, I'll take it.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
