Windows 10: No app associated error when inserting USB in any drive

Hello


Recently I have been getting an error that says no app associated when I insert a USB into any of the ports.


At first it appears to load Dropbox service as if it thinks that the USB ports are associated with it but i don't know how to prevent or stop this.


Any suggestions?

It seems that your USB is having an issue. We suggest running Check Disk to find and repair errors in the USB drive. To do so, please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and then select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Copy and paste chkdsk E: /f, then hit Enter.

Please use chkdsk E: command to check the integrity of your USB drive.

Note: Change "E:" to the USB drive letter you're using.

Let us know the result.

 

Usb flash drive, please insert disk into drive error?

i updated my computer and updated windows as the hardware troubleshooter suggested and that did not work

i tried diskpart and tried going through disk management as admin it does let me pick to change as the above pics show and i have windows 10 64 bit the usb is a monster digital 16gb usb

 

Cannot Insert USB Drive or Eternal Hard drive "This file does not have a program associated..."

If I Insert USB Drive or Eternal Hard drive then get error massage as bellow



“This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel.”



I formatted 2 times for solve this problem but still I have same problem. I use Windows 10 pro

Please help me to solve this problem
