Windows 10: No apps install from downloaded exe on new Surface Pro 8

Trying to install windows apps on new Surface Pro 8 w/ Windows 11 up-to-date w/ updates that I had been using on Surface Pro 6 w/ Windows 10. Nothing that downloads an exe will install: Microsoft Teams, TurboTax... But Adobe Acrobat installs from web. Various versions of the same message: "...setup wizard ended prematurely because of an error. Your system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time run setup wizard again." AND "An error occurred during installation of assembly..." AND "unexpected error in installer... error code 2908." Tried all of these steps with same

Cannot install Microsoft Store apps on new Surface Pro 7

I just purchased a new Surface Pro and I cannot install any apps from the Microsoft Store. I've reset the Store app several times, updated the computer (I'm "up to date"), confirmed that my new device is listed in the Store, turned the BITS (?) system to
run automatically, ran troubleshoot for the Store, and a few other things.

The funny thing is that I just installed the apps that I'm looking to install on my old Surface Pro 4, without any issues.

Any suggestions?

 

Cannot download the NFL App on Surface Pro 7

Recently bought a new Surface Pro 7 and I quickly realized that the NFL App is not downloadable on the Surface Pro. Why is this happening and is there any way to work around it? I had no problem downloading the app on my 2015 Chromebook but I cannot on
this brand new Surface Pro. My Windows 10 is also up to date. Any suggestions?
