    No attachments in incoming Mail for Windows 10


    Lets try this thread again...seems I have a client w/ Windows 10 Pro that uses Windows 10 Mail...the user informed me yesterday that she has not been receiving any attachments....and she's right. When I checked the server that hosts the email account the attachment is there.

    Any suggestions that will work?

    I see a thread was started in 2015 and went to 2017...with no solution. Very puzzled as to why NO Certified Microsoft employee ever addressed this issue...

    MICROSOFT this issue is still here and has not gone away...

    No attachments in incoming Mail for Windows 10

    Made no changes other than installing windows 10. No attachments show up in windows 10 mail. I hate the side stepping your giving. If you don't know get the heck out of windows help.

    Hi there,

    first of all I don't want to forward each and every incoming mail to check if there is an attachment or not.

    And in addition: The proposed solution doesn't work. If a mail contains an attachment that is not shown by MS-Mail, even forwarding doesn't show this attachment!

    Sorry, but this was a absolutely helpless suggestion.

    Hello Allan,

    To attach a document file on an email, you can follow the step given below:

    For Windows 10 Mobile:

    • Launch to File Explorer app.
    • Press and hold the file that you need to attach on the email, and select
      Share       button.
    • Select Outlook Mail on the suggested applications.

    For Windows Phone 8.1:

    • Download and install
      Files       app.
    • Launch Files app.
    • Tap and hold the document that you need to attach on the email, and select
      Share       button.
    • Select the Mail app on the suggested applications.
