Windows 10: No audio after uninstalling the last major update

My computer was crashing before windows start. I fixed this issue by uninstalling the last major update on the advanced settings. The problem is: after doing that, the audio doesn't work anymore. I already installed the realtek audio drivers from my motherboard h61m-e manufacturer and already did the scan for problems by using the SFC /SCANNOW and DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth. The troubleshooter don't find any problems, and I already tried to update the audio drivers. All the Windows services are enabled on msconfig. I can't find any solution for this problem on internet.

May I suggest to completely uninstall all Audio drivers listed in the Device manager including the headset. Please make sure to completely remove.

Here is how to do it.

Here the steps to completely remove a Device off your computer.

Step 1. Use shortcut keys Win + X on Windows 10.

Step 2. Select Device Manager.

Step 3. Expand the entry Sound and Audio devices. Right-click the problematic device and select Uninstall device.

Step 4. You may need to check the option Delete the driver software for this device, and then click the Uninstall button.

Step 5. Reboot the computer.

Repeat the steps in all the Audio devices listed.

Then reboot. then test the headset again.

 

We can't find an audio device for your PC.

Update all your audio drivers.

Follow the steps to update the audio drivers:

  Press Windows key + R key. Type "devmgmt.msc" and click Enter.

  Expand the Sound, Video and game controllers.
  
• 
  Double-click on the Sound card.
  
• 
  In Properties, go to Drivers Tab and click on Update.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check.
  

If this does not work you might have to Uninstall and then reinstall your drivers in compatibility mode.

Follow the steps to uninstall and reinstall the driver.

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused
