Windows 10: No audio by HDMI with Intel high definition audio

Hi,

I have windows 10 x64.

Lenovo Y50-70.


I connect by HDMI display Dell U2715h -> to display there are connected speakers.


When I connect other device by DisplayPort there is normally sound.


But as mentioned, connection by HDMI don't play any sound.

Chcecked cable - is working for DVD player and TV.


Updated drivers by Intel site with automatic detection -> driver version 10.0.19041.1


I set as default the "DELL U2715H high definition audio Intel" the sound device.

Windows 10, 10th October Update Intel High Definition Audio Driver Issue

Having audio issues on computer as many other Windows 10 users, like no sound through HDMI, and looking for the correct Intel High Definition Audio driver,
no speakers are detected and have an issue with the Intel High Definition Audio driver.

 

Intel High Definition Audio is not working.

Solved the problem for me.

Device Manager->System Devices->Intel Smart Sound Audio Controller (or similar)

Roll Back to "High Definition Audio Controller"

Right Click-> Update Driver

Browse My Computer for driver software

Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer

Select "High Definition Audio Controller" Next

Once installed reboot and problem should be solved.
