Windows 10: No audio device found with X over the Speaker Icon. What to do?

Today, I have no sound and an "x" over the speaker icon. "No audio device found". Windows 11 Pro, Lenovo ThinkPad. I went to Device Manager and tried to install a device for some sound still no sound at all. Need Help. Need computer for Zoom? from wh

Speaker icon has a Red X on it, "no audio output device is installed"

I have windows 10. I purchased my HP computer with Beats Audio packaged. I had to reset my computer and when I did it came back with Speaker icon has a Red X on it, "no audio output device is installed" and no beats audio icon or installation. Since this
was bundled I did not receive the software to reinstall Beats Audio. I have tried updating drivers, plugging and unplugging my speakers and bass (Logitech Z4) to no avail. What are my options.

Red X by my speaker icon.

Red X by my speaker icon. Message says "No Audio Output Device Installed" but the speakers are plugged in and work fine. I checked them on another computer.

 

red X by audio after 1709 update - audio device gone in device manager.

Just updated to 1709, and got a red X by the speaker symbol. All instructions say "manually update the driver, or, de-install / re-install, or perform an automatic update... there's nothing to de-install / re-install and update. I was going to manually update
the inf driver, but there is no audio or sound speaker symbols listed in my device manager - gone!

Any suggestions?
