Windows 10: No Audio Device installed error even after installing latest driver

Hello , my laptop's sound isn't working , it keeps telling me that I have no output device installed .I tried uninstalling my driver and rebooting but it still didn't work. I downloaded the latest audio driver from my manufacturer's site and the problem was only temporarily resolved , the sound got back to normal for about 5 minutes then it stopped working again . I tried repeating the process that had previously worked but nothing is working . Kindly anyone assist , it's getting really frustrating

What Drivers To Install

Even though I purchased Windows 7 about two weeks ago, I have not installed it yet. I just want to make sure I install all of the correct things. So, I should have to install

• latest Intel Chipset Driver
• latest Intel Matrix Storage Manager (is this the only RAID thing I have to install?)
• latest Soundmax ADI Audio Driver
• latest Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet Driver
• latest Marvell SATA driver
• latest ATI CCC and Driver
• Windows 7 should install the hyperthreading driver by itself right? Vista did.

 

HDMI audio driver for ASUS X551M laptop?

This is from Intel regarding hdmi:

• Install the latest Intel® Graphics Driver, this also installs the latest audio codecs for HDMI.
• After driver installation, connect to the HDMI TV or digital display, using a HDMI cable.
• Select HDMI audio as your default playback device. Click Start>Control Panel>Hardware and Sound.
• Click Sound. The Playback tab lists the audio playback devices for your computer.
• Right-click on the device for HDMI audio, and select Set as Default Device.

 

Modem on HD Audio device not installed....

I just bought a Toshiba Equiem P200D 139 lappy which came with Vista. Having spent a couple of days with it its obvious that Vista is a bit too much for it (or maybe it was the pre-installed bloat...), so I've installed XP Pro on it. So far so good, its much more responsive now, and I've found most of the drivers for it (a bit of a chore since Toshiba don't list any XP drivers!!).

Device Manager only shows one remaining triangle, beside Modem on HD Audio device, and I just can't find a driver for it! Tried right clicking and update driver, which worked for a few devices, but this one obstinately refuses to work. Any ideas?*Bang Head :banghead:
