Windows 10: No Audio Device plugged Amd high definition audio not plugged please help.

I don't know what happened suddenly my speakers aren't working. I always you HP support assistant to update my drivers. MY model is HP 14s - fq1024 AURyzen 3 5300U. Please help me out. Thanks in advance.Things I did* uninstalling and reinstalling the amd high definition audio drivers* system restore* DISM method* clean boot upbut nothing working

Thanks for your suggestion, but the sound playback device was greyed out again this morning and reads: "AMD High Definition Audio Device Not Plugged In".

Once again, uninstalling AMD High Definition Audio Device and deleting the driver in the Device Manager and rebooting brought the sound device back.

Any other ideas?

 

AMD High Definition Audio Device Not Plugged In

After the anniversary update 1607, the sound playback device is greyed out daily and reads: "AMD High Definition Audio Device Not Plugged In". Using Device Manager to reinstall (sometimes works) or uninstall, and then rebooting always brings back the playback
device with a green checkmark and reads "AMD High Definition Audio Device Default Device".

The problem is that within 24 hours the sound playback device will be greyed out with the Device Not Plugged In message. This regardless of the PC being shut down, put to sleep, or kept from going to sleep.

This was never a problem under 7, 8 or 10 - until the anniversary update.

Hardware: HP -> displayport -> Dell U2713 -> Dell sound bar. The Dell monitor can take the audio from HDMI or displayport signal, and has an audio port that the sound bar jack plugs into.

Again, the problem is that the sound playback device needs to be repaired daily. What can be done to prevent Windows from disabling it on a daily basis?

Didn't work, even with the sfc /scannow correction. The six instances I have of the AMD High Definition Audio Device are still grayed out saying they're not plugged in.

Any more recent updates to this issue from Microsoft?
