Windows 10: No audio devices can be detected

When i was playing a games my chrome that was playing stop playing the music i was playing on it. I thought i had disconnected from the internet but then all the programs that use sould crashed like discord chrome volume mixer and spotify but it was not in use. I could not load any program after forced closing all of them. I later restart my computer and i could not load disord, i could opeab chrome and search but could not load videos. I see that my computer would detect my computer speakers but i could not hear anything. I tried to open the volume mixer but sometimes it would open. When it would open it said no audio devices are installed and a would put a red x next to the speaker and in connecte devices my speakers would no longer show up and only when i close it my speaker would come back. I arleady downloaded all the drivers and deleted them and reinstalld them. Please help

No audio devices detected


So, after upgrading to Windows 10, my computer no longer detects any audio devices.

Device manager only detects nvidia hd audio
Playback devices only detects nvidia hd audio

After installing realtek drivers, realtek is nowhere to be found - no icon in system tray, no realtek device in device manager etc.

USB headphones work fine, just dont have any support for rear panel audio jacks, have disconnected front panel audi connector, installed fress win10 copy, still nothing

I would suggest you to run sound audio troubleshooter, it will automatically detect the problem and fix it. Follow the below steps.

  Press Windows key + R and click on
  Control Panel.

  Click on View by: category and click on
  Small icon.
  
• 
  Now click on troubleshooting and click on
  Hardware and Sound.
  
• 
  Click on Playing Audio and Click on Next button.
  

If the issue still persist try the below steps:

Method 2.

I recommend you to update the audio driver and check if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device manager.
  
• Now click on Audio input and output and right click on it and
  update the driver.
• For the video issues try the below method.

Method 3.

Also I suggest you to update the display driver and let us know the status.

• 
  Press Windows Key + R and type
  devmgmt.msc in the box and hit Enter.
  
• 
  Locate and Expand the Display Adapter driver.
  
• 
  Right Click on the Display Device.
  
• 
  Click on update.

Method 1.

I would suggest you to run sound audio troubleshooter, it will automatically detect the problem and fix it. Follow the below steps.

  Press Windows key + R and click on
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on View by: category and click on
  Small icon.
  
• 
  Now click on troubleshooting and click on
  Hardware and Sound.
  
• 
  Click on Playing Audio and Click on Next button
  

(My computer says "Troubleshoot audio playback")
click this

THEN

A box should pop up saying: Play audio Find & fix problem (Hit Next)

(computer will start searching/detecting if problem)

Question will pop up:

Which of these devices do you want to trouble shoot?

-Speakers

-Headphones

CLICK SPEAKERS

It should then ask you to change selected audio device to default

CLICK - Apply this fix.

Done!
