Windows 10: No Audio Slider & Notification Center

Just did a clean install of 10162, but now when I click on the volume control or notification icons nothing happens. The volume works, but I must right click the volume icon and open the volume mixer to control the volume. There is no audio slider. The notification center doesn't do anything, whether I right or left click it.

Any suggestions?

Sound is muted.

Click the Speaker icon in the Taskbar notification area at the extreme right then click the X next to the volume icon, proceed to use the slider to increase the volume.

If that does not work...

First, run the Playing audio troubleshoot - open Start > Settings > Update & security > Troubleshoot

Scroll down, select Playing audio

Click Run the troubleshooter

When complete, restart your computer then check if audio is working again.

 

User Account Control - Notification in Windows 10 Action Center "UAC is disabled".

Hello,

I have disabled User Account Control in Windows 10 by drawing slider in Control Panel's User Account settings to "Never notify" state.

Now, every time the Windows starts I get notification in Action Center that UAC is disabled. If you just click on notification Windows returns slider to top "Always notify" state (not to mention that Windows won't inform you about this change).

There is no way to disable permanently this notification. At least no obviuos way. And notification is a little bit annoying.

So, anyone knows how to stop this notification?

 

I had run Auslogics Registry Cleaner after install and it messed up my system.
