Windows 10: No Audio via the internal speakers after a reinstall of Win. 10 32 bit; audio via the Jack...

Win. 10 worked alright on my Lenovo 100S11IBY 64 bit processor/ 32bit firmware until recently when Phone Link stopped working; I tried a few Linux OS but with maybe one exception - none had audio via the internal speakers avs. I've reinstalled Win. 10 twice using the .iso file from Microsoft which was about three months old. Have reinstalled the relevant driver from the Lenovo website about thrice and triple checked all sound and audio settings. It's possible but unlikely that the hardware happened to fail around this time; I suspect what happened is that somehow while not using Win.

Win 10 - 2004 update - internal speakers but no audio in/out from front or rear panel jacks

A Lenovo x64 desktop updated to win 10 2004 today.

I have audio from the internal speakers but I no longer have audio in/out from the jacks on the front and rear panel.

I have uninstalled and re-installed the both Speakers (high definition audio device) drivers in "Audio, video and game controllers" section of the Device Manager

Any fix?
