Windows 10: No battery is detected error message on a desktop.

I am getting the No battery is detected error message on a Windows 10 desktop. Most of the online advice about this is for laptops. I have tried restarting, updating Windows, and using the manufacturer's update tool to update drivers. None of these work. When I go to Device Manager, there is no Battery option listed in the menu. The manufacturer's performance monitor says that the device is working properly, and so far I have encountered no practical issues. The device is quite new. What else can I try before contacting Lenovo for support, and how much does it matter if I go on using the compu

No Battery Is Detected error on ASUS Laptop

My Asus battery says no battery is detected even after I followed these same steps. I have tried a lot of different ways but it still shows the same thing. What do I do?

Hi,

First of all I suggest you to try with a driver remove and reinstall with Device Manager. To do so:

1. Press WINDOWS + X

2. Click on "Device Manager"

3. Click on "Battery"

4. Right click on the first element on list

5. Click on "Remove"

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the second element on list

7. Click on "Detects Hardware change" (monitor icon)

Then reboot your system and check if the problem still exists.
