Windows 10: No Bitlocker key found and seller does not have it on his account. My laptop still request...

Screen says to enter Bit Locker key but not in my account or in the seller's. I have decided to wipe out laptop, but it still asks for Bitlocker key. Please how do i completely wipe and reset back to Windows11 pro or 10 Pro without key? TY

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

If you are unable to contact the seller to get the Bitlocker key for that drive, then i am sorry, you will not be able to access that drive, the encryption is too strong and any data on that drive will be lost..

You will need to create a bootable Windows 11 USB, then boot the laptop from that, delete all partitions on the drive and clean install Windows 11 on the laptop, then log in with your own Microsoft Account.

Do you have your data backed up or synced to OneDrive or some other cloud service?

Bitlocker key can not be found in the microsoft account

After a regular update of Windows my Notebook asked me for the Bitlocker Key although I never activated this. The device is listed in my account but in the list of keys it's not.

Simply doing a reset is definitely not an option, the data is needed.

Every single suggestion for how to find the key is absolutely useless so far.
